Mountain Bike Adventures Part 2

March 19, 2015

Come on a journey and explore the local bushland in and around Sutherland Shire.
Riding some of these single tracks can be a bit challenging and technical but well worth the effort when you discover you are instantly in another world surrounded by native bushland and its wildlife, leaving the everyday stresses behind.

There are numerous tracks around Sutherland and Heathcote hower I strongly recommend

NSWMBT as a must site for mountain bike riders with detailed information on  moutain bike trails in NSW

These areas are also very accessible for keen bushwalkers however I would recommended taking adequate supplies and also investigating the distances you may be walking.

The Royal National Park displays walking tracks and points of interest that can be very helpful to making  your walk more enjoyable.

There are also great apps you can download which can be used as GPS navigational devices such as Bike Brain. Probably not the best app on the market but it has helped me a couple times when I have well and truly lost my bearings.

I hope you enjoy Mountain Bike Adventures Part 2 and look forward to your comments
